The Scottish Tourist Guides Association tartan has been exclusively designed by Kinloch Anderson to commemorate the STGA's 50th Anniversary in 2009. It was launched in April 2010 with an evening reception at Kinloch Anderson attended by many of the Tour Guides

The set is based on the City of Edinburgh tartan as the Association was originally founded in Edinburgh. The colours were each chosen for a specific reason; Blue and White representing the Saltire and the Blue Badge which all STGA Guides proudly wear, Green and Purple to remind us of the beautiful Scottish Landscape and Gold to represent the 50th Anniversary and Scotland's Whisky Industry.
