Kinloch Anderson

The Kinloch Anderson tartans are exclusive, recognised worldwide and have become synonymous with the name of Kinloch Anderson and the Scottish lifestyle associated with it. The Kinloch Anderson tartans are based on the Clan Anderson tartan sett first recorded in the 13th century and so they reflect the heritage of the Anderson family’s ownership and management of the Company over six generations.

The name “Anderson” means the son of Andrew and Kinloch means head of the loch.  In this tartan there are 3 parallel lines with the central line wider than those on either side and this is a feature taken from the Clan Anderson tartan. There are 12 Kinloch Anderson tartans each with their own unique story.
