Dunblane
Scottish Gaelic: Dun Bhlathain
Dunblane is a small cathedral city and former burgh north of Stirling. Its main landmark is Dunblane Cathedral and the Allan Water runs through the town centre, with the Cathedral and the High Street on the east side.
The tartan is from a portrait of Peregrine, 2nd Viscount Dunblane, painted in 1726, once hanging hanging in Hornby Castle, Yorkshire but sold at Christies in 2005.
