Citric fruits, vanilla sponge, butterscotch and pepper.
A mellow and well integrated aroma, with fruity top-note – citric to start, then tinned peaches, sponge fingers, vanilla custard and whipped cream. Water reintroduces the citric note adding a thread of smoke and butterscotch. The taste is predominantly sweet, with a smooth texture and a warming finish at full strength. It remains sweet, fresh and slightly peppery with a drop of water. A spicy, warming finish.
A pleasant general purpose Scotch. Plenty of body and a relatively high proportion of malt.
