Crème caramel with a trace of berry fruits on a light cereal base – reminiscent of Granola breakfast cereal. A rich, dry nose overall. With a drop of water, the toffee notes advance and the overall effect becomes drier. Smooth texture; a sweet start, drying towards the shortish finish, with a pleasant taste of creamy toffee and black cherry yoghurt in mid palate. At reduced strength, the taste is similar, the finish slightly longer.
A good workaday malt, fully mature and pleasant to drink. A whisky for quaffing!
