In August 2010 GTV a Taiwanese film company came to Kinloch Anderson to make a travel programme about Kilt making and Highland Dress. The programme will air at the end of the year.
The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is one of the most spectacular shows in the world and this year Kinloch Anderson were delighted and proud to be asked to sponsor the Highland Dancers.
In August 2010 to coincide with the festival and many Cruise ships arriving - Kinloch Anderson were invited to display their Highland Outfits in Ocean Terminal on Edinburgh's waterfront.
The Scottish Tourist Guides Association tartan has been exclusively designed by Kinloch Anderson to commemorate the STGA's 50th Anniversary in 2009. It was launched in April 2010 with an evening reception at Kinloch Anderson attended by many of the Tour Guides
Deirdre Kinloch Anderson spent seven long years in order to secure the registration of tartans in perpetuity in the public domain. A Bill was passed through the Scottish Parliament and The Scottish Register of Tartans is now held within the National Archives of Scotland.
