Yorkshire Tea’s travelling tea-mobile, Little Urn, visited Kinloch Anderson as part of a 12 day trip around Scotland to tempt Scots to try a “proper brew”. The Little Urn arrived in the Port of Leith yesterday, said to be the place the first cargo of tea arrived in Scotland, in 1833.

For many men their wedding day may well be the first time that they wear Highland Dress.  On this day the Groom shares the limelight with his bride and no-one will deny how impressive he can look in the kilt outfit of his choice – and he does indeed have a great many options. Kinloch Anderson’s rugby season is well underway as we are now proud sponsors of London Scottish FC. “The Breacan” is a kilted garment which has been designed by Kinloch Anderson specifically to meet the Scot’s desire for a garment in tune with today’s more casual style of dressing.  It is not intended as a substitute for the traditional kilt, which continues to grow in popularity, but provides an alternative particularly suitably for many leisure and sporting occasions.

Update from the daily report from Clipper Ventures Plc – “Edinburgh Inspiring Capital arrived to cheers from their fellow ocean racers as the Scottish team donned their Kinloch-Anderson kilts in the City of Edinburgh tartan. “It’s been a fantastic, but very challenging race,” revealed Gordon Reid, skipper of the Scottish entry.

Kennedy Dalton, as seen on the far right, who has just handed over his role of Master of the Merchant Company in Edinburgh, proudly walked his daughter Julie down the aisle, dressed in Kinloch Anderson. 

The Edinburgh Inspiring Capital Yacht finally arrive in Western Australia – “It was totally awesome, scary, frightening, the most horrendous conditions you could ever imagine. Absolutely fantastic, though,” explains skipper Gordon Reid.

The Edinburgh Inspiring Capital’s crew arrived in Cape Town on Friday 30th Sept after their 3rd race, with only another 12 to go! The Kinloch Anderson kilts seem to be withstanding the harsh conditions as the crew look fantastic.
