Kinloch Anderson Breacan – a more casual look.
01 February 2012

"The Breacan" is a kilted garment which has been designed by Kinloch Anderson specifically to meet the Scot's desire for a garment in tune with today's more casual style of dressing. It is not intended as a substitute for the traditional kilt, which continues to grow in popularity, but provides an alternative particularly suitably for many leisure and sporting occasions.
Features of "The Breacan" are:
- Easy to Wear as it is worn at the natural waistline with the same ease and comfort as a pair of trousers, but with the same hang and swing of a traditional kilt.
- Easy to Buy as it is being made in 5 waist sizes ranging from 30" - 44" and 3 lengths, so it can simply be bought "off the peg" by direct shopping or mail order.
- Affordable Price at just £225 it is around half the price of the traditional kilt.
- A Sportsman's dream to wear at the game, to the pub, in the hills, for a ceilidh.
- A really "cool" garment in every sense of the word, using finest quality wool worsted which is marginally lighter than most kilt cloth weights.
- Flexible in design with hem for lengthening or shortening and innovative strap and buckle fastenings.
