Barbour

The earliest record of the Barbour name in Scotland is from 13th century in Ayrshire so the Ayrshire District tartan sett was used as the basis of the design. Classic tartan colours particularly suitable to complement the renowned Barbour wax jackets were chosen – a brown and navy background with white, gold and red overchecks.
