The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland held their Centenary Gala Dinner in November 2013.  The dinner was held in the Grand Gallery at The National Museum Scotland in Edinburgh, and was attended by the Society's Royal Patron HRH The Princess Royal.

The Gala Dinner celebrated the Society's past achievements but also looked to the future with their desire to build a 21st Century Discovery Centre at Edinburgh Zoo, safeguarding endangered species and their habitats through continued conservation programmes and education.

A wonderful evening was had by the guests, with entertainment, a living collection parade (of the Zoo's wonderful animals with their keeper's) and a grand auction.
