The Cairngorm Highland Jacket and Waistcoat

Kinloch Anderson have been renowned for Kilts and Highland Dress since founded  in 1868 by William Anderson. The Cairngorm Highland Jacket takes pride of place as the signature piece of our soon to be launched 1868 menswear collection.

Inspired by our Kinloch Anderson Highland Dress Day Jacket, this is a timeless version of the classic tweed jacket that we have been carefully tailoring for almost 150 years. Bringing a touch of Highland Dress into everyday attire, our design team have developed and perfected the jacket into a more relaxed modern fit, adapted for the younger generation of discerning, well-dressed gentlemen. The Herringbone Tweed is the finest 100% British wool and comes in rustic green, ocean blue and pheasant red. Great attention to detail reveals the distinctive interior to the jacket which is trimmed with our signature Kinloch Anderson Tartan Silk.

The Cairngorm Highland Waistcoat is the perfect coordinate to the Cairngorm Highland Dress Jacket. This 5 button, satin-backed checked waistcoat is also made from  the finest 100% British Wool.

This combination of Jacket and Waistcoat creates a style of casual elegance which, though contemporary, is set to last.  All the garments in the 1868 Collection will be available from early 2016.
