Coming soon to Kinloch Anderson, Leith, Edinburgh is our truly unique menswear range “Kinloch Anderson 1868.” It would be no exaggeration to say that this is a long-awaited collection, as its roots lie in the very roots of the company, founded in 1868.

Kirsty Franey, head of design at Kinloch Anderson was fascinated by the history of tailoring within Kinloch Anderson through the generations. She has captured the very essence of Kinloch Anderson in the creation of this range by taking some of the key pieces from the Kinloch Anderson archives and adapting them for the modern, fashion-conscious man.

Always innovators and market leaders, Kinloch Anderson went from Civilian to Military Tailors at the time of the First World War. In the 1930s, William Kinloch Anderson, the third generation Chairman made an important decision to introduce “ready-to-wear” mens clothing.  At that time this was a daring and innovative move for a prestigious tailor.
