Deirdre Kinloch Anderson is seen here presenting three pupils at Loretto R.C Primary School in Musselburgh with their prizes. The class has been working on a project all about Scotland and one of the pupils had written to Kinloch Anderson to ask if someone could visit them and tell them more about tartan and kilt making.

They were set a competition to name some tartans and write something about their favourite one. All the entries were fantastic so chosing a winner was very difficult. It is wonderful for children so young to be interested in knowing more about tartan especially if their family name is associated with one.
