Concours of Elegance – Holyrood Palace September 2015

The Fourth International Concours of Elegance Motoring event took place in the prestigious surroundings of Holyrood Palace over a glorious sunny weekend in September.

The event brought together 60 of the rarest cars from around the World plus hundreds of other fine vintage, sport and luxurious motor cars.

To mark the occasion the Concours of Elegance tartan was commissioned to celebrate the heritage of Scottish motoring.  Our designer at Kinloch Anderson used the Holyrood district tartan as the starting point for the Concours of Elegance exclusive tartan. From here an elegant combination of blues with a highlight of gold, were used to represent the Holyrood tartan. Black and red then reflect the brand identity colours of the “Concours of Elegance” and added a sense of depth to the tartan. Finally a refined balance of colour and composition, granted the tartan with a life span going well beyond the event itself to be admired for years to come.
